Sohini Sarkar Early Life & Career
Indian Bengali actress Sohini Sarkar works in both cinema and television. In the TV show Adwitiya, which ran from 2011 to 2012, she portrayed the lead role. In the 2013 movie Rupkatha Noy, Sarkar made her acting debut. She appeared in the movie Phoring that same year. She received a nomination for best actress in a leading role for the movie Bibaho Diaries at the 2018 Filmfare Awards East.
Born in Kolkata, Sohini Sarkar started her acting career in 2006 with Zee Bangla TV series “Ekdin Pratidin”. In 2013, she acted as ‘Ahana’ in the Bengali film “Rupkatha Noy”. In 2016, she also appeared as ‘Satyabati’ in the film “Byomkesh Pawrbo”.
